A Kynard is a handle for a select group of people scattered about our nation. There are small concentrations in the midwest and south with even smaller groups on the west and east coasts.
Kynard is often mispronounced. A name member might hear anything from Ki-nard to Kye-nard to the likes of Cu-nard. The most popular and most accepted pronunciation is making the sound of the Y the short sound of I and placing the accent on the last syllable. Go on… Try it!
If you know of a Kynard, please point them to this site so we may determine lineage. There are so few that you never know where the lines crossed.
